As a volunteer-led charity (Charitable Incorporated Organisation), we are proud to support local groups, families, and organisations by providing affordable venue hire, hosting a wide range of community-led activities, and acting as a hub for connection, creativity, and support.

From stay-and-play groups and fitness classes to cultural events and community meetings, Millgate is here to serve the people of Newark and the surrounding areas.

Our centre is run by a dedicated team of trustees and volunteers who are passionate about building a stronger, kinder, and more inclusive community. Every pound we raise is reinvested into the upkeep and improvement of the building and its services — helping us ensure Millgate remains a vibrant and accessible space for all.
